Ari joined the board in 2022 and will be assisting with the Youth Commission. "I look forward to working with the Youth Commission to continue providing the resources our community enjoys, as well as developing new programs to support our kids in this ever-changing world."
Ari was born and raised in Rensselaer County and has lived in Stephentown since 2013 where she is an artist and stay-at-home mom. "My husband and I love raising our children in the peace and quiet that our beautiful Stephentown provides." When she's not parenting you can typically find her tending to chickens, working in the garden, reading or painting.
"I first visited the Stephentown Memorial Library shortly after moving to town. I was delighted to find that we had such a warm, inviting space smack dab in the middle of town. Over the years my kids and I have attended many events, visited story time, made many friends and checked out countless books. I am very much looking forward to working with my favorite part of our community."
Having been a library patron for as long as she can remember, libraries have always provided a safe space where knowledge is treasured, community is of the utmost importance and resources are freely available to those who are in need. "I am so thrilled that my children have the SML at their disposal; I know that they, along with all the kids in this town, get so much out of this invaluable resource."
