Art Journaling-Wednesday, September 12 at 6:30pm


Teens and adults are invited to join us for a night of drawing, writing, collaging, and painting. We will meet on the second Wednesday of each month to journal together as well as share the art work that was created at home during the month. All supplies will be provided however you may bring your own as well. This group will be led by Kim Roppolo, artist and library director. Please call to register.

 

Back to School Game Night with Cake and Ice Cream!

Kids just spent a few days back to school so let’s celebrate the weekend with games, cake, and ice cream! There will be plenty of cake and ice cream for everyone and lots of games for kids and parents. Everyone is welcome to join us!!

SML welcomes Otha Day to our lovely library to lead us in a community drum circle. Otha facilitates fun and lively drum/rhythm circle events from the deep belief that rhythm has the power to build community, promote well-being and create joy. This program is open to everyone……young, old, and in between!!

Annual Book Festival Is Coming Soon!


SML will be hosting our Annual Book Festival on Saturday, August 18 from 10:00am to 3:00pm AND Sunday, August 19 from 10:00am to 1:00pm. Come join the festivities where there will be hundreds of books for sale, a bake sale, coffee and hand squeezed lemonade for sale, face painting, and activities for kids.

NEW THIS YEAR…a vendor market will also be set up on the grounds. There will be basket makers, artists, potters, farmers, blacksmiths, doll makers, and more.
